16th September Dear President Bush You say you are a loving guy. You also want to be a great president. Take heed of Abraham Lincoln's words: "I destroy my enemy when I make him my friend". In April 1999 we placed adverts in the Wall Street Journal aimed at the very wealthy, people just like you and your family, offering them a way to protect their wealth and the wealth of their nations. Predicting also that without such action your wealth would become useless. You and your family could just dip into your pockets and with the spare change draw out enough to fund the Endowment Fund for Perpetual World Peace. You could deliver its immediate expansion to the critical mass needed to dissolve all the tensions in the world today. No one need even know you had done it! Yet all the world would turn round and be your friend. The alternative is war and destruction of life which history shows us will only be the breeding ground of further strife.The world is on a knife edge. The choice is yours.
